Concrete is a composite material that can be shaped to express a wide range of sensations, strengths, and forms, depending on the structure that supports its load and the way its surface is finished.
This second study extends the inquiry by pairing concrete with epoxy. Where pigment changes a material's color from within, epoxy works on the surface — sealing, gloss, and depth — and shifts the way light reads against the material. The study examines how the two together expand concrete's range across structure, finishing, and object.
