웨어러블쉘터는 하나의 소재를 이용한 서로 다른 기능의 복합적인 구현을 컨셉으로 합니다. 내전으로 발생된 시리아 난민을 대상으로 구상된 이 프로젝트는, 문명에서 떨어져나와 목적지에 다다를때까지 야지에서 장기간의 힘든 이동 소화해야 되는 난민들의 여정을 돕기 위해 디자인 되었습니다.
The wearable shelter is based on the concept using one piece of material to make a combination of different functions. The idea comes from a real story told by a Syrian refugee, which those could only carry one bag with them when they leave. This shelter is designed to help the refugees from the beginning of their journey until they reach their destination.
타이벡은 가혹한 야외환경을 버티기에 적합한 소재입니다. 튼튼하고 오염에 강한 방수소재이며 동시에 공기를 통과시키고 가볍습니다.
Tyvek is a suitable material to protect users from harsh external environments. It is strong against pollution, waterproof, air permeable, light and not torn.
타이벡으로 만든 쉘터는 오리가미 구조를 적용하여 형태를 변형할 수 있습니다. 다양한 형태로 입거나 걸칠 수 있으며 줄과 고리를 이용해 비박용 쉘터로 사용할 수 있습니다. 또한 지퍼를 사용하여 서로 연결하여 크기를 확장해 사용할 수 도 있습니다.
Tyvek shelter folded by origami structure can be worn and can be extended by connecting with zipper, and can be used as bivouac shelter by using rings and straps.
이런 종이접기 구조는 여러가지 다양한 형태로 변형을 가능하게 합니다. 다양한 상황에 맞추어 크기를 줄일수도, 확장할 수도 있고, 접어서 작은 형태로 보관할 수도 있습니다.
This structure should be able to transform into several different forms, for example, enlarging, shrinking and it is also foldable into small shapes in order to satisfy different situations.
작은 보트로 바다를 건널때, 빗속을 뚫고 걸어야 할 때, 혹은 길거리에서 노숙해야 될 때도 외부의 환경에 대해 최소한의 보호를 제공합니다.
While they are crossing the sea, marching in the rain, or even sleeping on the street in a city, this wearable shelter could supply a protect and support their lives during their hard days.
